It is located, like the entire radio station, on the nineteenth floor of the Medien-Center Berlin. The modern glass skyscraper at Potsdamer Platz offers a spectacular panoramic view over Berlin. Cream-colored room dividers and countless potted plants are intended to create a loft atmosphere, while white-gray wooden floors exude seriousness. In a corner of the floor lies the so-called „Aquarium,” a massive glass triangle where the broadcast studios and the newsroom are located. This is where the hostage-taking takes place.
