During a visitor tour of the private radio station, Jan May appears with a fake tooth, an old tracksuit, a wig, and crutches. No one knows yet that he is wearing explosives on his body. As if out of nowhere, from within the tour group, he smashes an editor's nose with his crutch and locks the blinds using an alarm button, making the room no longer visible from the outside. He holds the hostages at gunpoint and deliberately goes live: all of Berlin can now watch live as he makes his demands. He picks up on the station's game “CashCall” but radically changes the rules. People are to be called at random: if they answer a question correctly, a hostage is freed; otherwise, someone in the studio will be shot. Basic condition: he remains live! Jan is extremely well-prepared, very strategic, and clearly knows his way around the station.
