In this mansion-like estate on the German-Polish border, Alysee's father died in the most horrific way before her eyes many years ago. Over twenty years later, the building, constructed from sandstone blocks, is marked by decay and burn scars, its facade overgrown with wild vines. The imposing foyer is as high as a train station hall, with black and white marble tiles. The furniture is covered with gray cloths. In the basement, there is a secret wing: sleep labs and patient rooms hint at a completely different use of the supposed hotel.
