Viktor inherited the two-story, thatched-roof beach house on the typical North Sea island of Parkum from his parents. He spent his childhood holidays here, not far from the fishing village. The wooden house was built in the early 1920s and is in need of renovation; the walls urgently need painting, and the ship's floorboards need sanding. The interior from the eighties still points to the prosperity of the Larenz family.
