Alexander Zorbach was once considered a brilliant police negotiator, renowned for his legendary empathy, even though he never finished his psychology studies. However, after a traumatic experience seven years ago, he now scrapes by as a police reporter in Berlin, who is at least exceptionally well-informed thanks to his contacts and by tapping into the police radio.
