The young Berlin architect experienced terrible things as a child: he was the sole survivor of a car accident that claimed his family. He had to leave his first foster family because he was found sleepwalking with a knife in their son's room... Yet, thanks to loving adoptive parents, he has found his place in life and is now facing an important tender. His wife is planning a photo exhibition. However, their marriage is in crisis after a miscarriage. None of this can explain why Leon, upon waking from a terrible nightmare, has to helplessly watch his wife leave him – and the worst part: she bears signs of physical abuse. Shortly thereafter, his adoptive parents tell him they are now setting off on the cruise he gifted them – but Leon knows nothing of this. Is he doing things in his sleep again that he later doesn't remember? Has he abused his wife? To get to the bottom of his nocturnal activities, he sets up a camera before the next night, which begins to film when he moves.
