Mats Krüger, a psychiatrist who suffers from extreme fear of flying, must embark on a long-haul flight from Buenos Aires to Berlin. He has mentally prepared himself for all possible horror scenarios. He has even researched where survivors of a plane crash sat and which seat performed worst in crash tests (7A!).
But he didn't count on receiving an extortion call shortly after takeoff. The stranger's voice informs him:

Mats is supposed to „undo“ his therapy and detonate the „mental bomb“ on board to crash the plane, otherwise he will lose something much more important than „just“ his life...
